Studienstart Plus

Study Start Plus is designed for first-year students of all disciplines and provides complementary support alongside the STEOP phase.

All sub-areas of Focus 1 Getting started successfully in your studies and Focus 3 Discovering science can be attended independently of one another. There are no admission restrictions or other prerequisites. Courses are offered in both the Winter and Summer Semesters, depending on the current program.

The registration phase begins on 20 October 2025, from 5:30 p.m.

Registration for continuous-assessment courses takes place via the online course directory u:find or via u:space. Registration automatically enables access to Moodle.

To register, you will need a valid u:account. Information on how to set up or extend your account, as well as on the available services.

Further information on registering for courses It is important that when registering via u:space, you select the module Studienstart Plus as curriculum point (module). This ensures that the ECTS credits you earn can later be assigned by your Studies Service Unit or Studies Service Center to the desired module - that is, to the place where they are intended to be used.
