Close knowledge gaps

The sub-area Focus 2 Bridging Knowledge Gaps is divided into two sections:
- Humanities and
- STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

The courses offered are primarily aimed at students within the respective disciplines. The goal of these courses is to support students in reaching the required entry-level knowledge - particularly by refreshing and reinforcing prior knowledge acquired at school - and to prepare them optimally for the demands of university-level studies and their respective StEOP (introductory and orientation phase).

In a few exceptional cases, additional spots may be available to students from other fields of study. However, the specific admission requirements of the respective courses apply in these cases.
